  What Is SmartBiz?

CenterState Bank is proud to be an exclusive provider of SmartBiz to  community banks nationwide.

 

SmartBiz is a complete SBA loan web application that banks can co-brand or private label to allow small business customers the ability to apply for, and close, SBA 7(a) loans under the Small Loan Advantage Program. Qualification can occur in as little as seven minutes and funding can occur in as little as five days.

Two Versions to Choose From

Community banks can get started with SmartBiz in as little as 48 hours and can choose between two options:

Co-branded 

Community banks can choose to act as a referral source for a select few of out-of-area lenders that are just interested in booking small SBA loans. Your bank will use a customized URL and co-branded home page with your information and logo to help your bank generate fee income, acquire customers, build deposit balances, cross-sell other products and serve the local community, particularly minority business owners. In this version, banks can choose to purchase a portion of originations or just refer loans for fee income without credit risk.

 

Private Label  

Should banks choose to have complete control over the credit and application process, banks can license SmartBiz technology to do all the above, plus build loan balances.  While a more complex process, private label works well for banks that are already preferred SBA lenders and are larger in size.
